I am a pastor. I was called into the ministry many years ago. There have been times in my life when I was not a vocational pastor, so you might say I was at times a volunteer pastor, or other times a bi-vocational pastor. It doesn’t matter; I once worked for a large civil engineering firm, and while I was there I was the tacit pastor to my team. If you are fulfilling Jesus’ commission to go and make disciples, you are also a pastor!

I have pastored large congregations connected to large denominations to small non-denominational cowboy churches in Texas. Presently I am a part-time pastor to a small but growing congregation in Newport News, Virginia. I have a bride, Liz, two grown children, three active Brittanys, and two donkeys. Well, the donkeys are Liz’s.
